Voxsync Companion suite synchronizes PIM data via the use of wireless connection (CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA...) and wireline connection (ADSL, modem, cable...).
When subscribers connect via a wireless/wireline connection to the Voxsync Server, the server detects (after having authenticated subscribers) the device capabilities requesting the synchronization, for optimization purposes. Voxsync Server connects then to the Voxsync Server and initiates the synchronization between subscriber's devices and the PIM account. Any changes detected on the client or on the server are automatically and instantly propagated to the Voxsync client(s) and server. If any conflict arises, the rules set by the user determine who has precedence over the other conflict management. All the data are centrally saved on the Voxpim Server. The Voxsync Server adapts Voxsync Companion suite connectors to support any data type and offer consequently a future proof and flexible framework for synchronization services. |
