Voxsync Server 1.0 has been certified SyncML by the SyncML Interoperability Committee.
Paris - January 26th, 2001
Voxmobili, a leading provider of collaborative and synchronisation solutions, announced today that its internally developed synchronisation technology has been certified SyncML-compliant by the SyncML Interoperability Committee (SIC), following testing at the 2002 SyncFest in Amsterdam, Netherlands - January 23-25, 2002. SyncML is the open industry specification for mobile data sync and device management. This standard is sponsored by Ericsson, IBM, Lotus, Matsushita Communication Industrial Co. Ltd., Motorola, Nokia... SyncML is also supported by hundreds of mobile and wireless leaders across various industry sectors worldwide.
Voxmobili's certification of compliancy underscores the Company's successful implementation of the SyncML 1.0 protocol, as well as its long-standing support of the SyncML Initiative's advocacy work. At SyncFest, the Voxmobili team successfully tested its synchronisation application, Voxsync Server 1.0, with several synchronisation clients developed by today's leading synchronisation companies such as Ericsson, Nokia, and Panasonic. The SyncML compliance ensures that Voxsync Server solutions are fully interoperable with any SyncML devices or servers.
Voxmobili will now focus on continuing the development of its synchronisation solutions in order to better address future profiles in multi-device, multi-platform personal and professional communication. With wireless operators seeking to reduce churn and provide more useful, targeted applications to their subscribers, Voxmobili's technology specifically addresses these concerns by building usage and increasing loyalty, and amplifies popular services such as calendar, address book, intranet/extranet communities and instant messaging. Voxmobili primarily targets the wireless carrier and multi-access portal markets, but also the enterprise market. |
