Voxmobili is looking for a Software Development Engineer for its Mobile Devices R&D department based in Paris. Your main responsibility will be to build our synchronisation products in a multi-device and multi-Os environment.

Profile:
The job requires a significant experience in real-time programming on mobile Operating System. Any experience with hardware/software development using in particular Unix systems (like Linux or VxWorks), Symbian, Palm or J2ME skills would also qualified.

Candidates need an ability to work independently and in a team environment to effectively solve complex issues. As Voxmobili is working in an international environment it is required from the applicants to speak French and English fluently.

J2EE developer

Description:
Voxmobili is looking for a highly motivated and talented trainee willing to develop his experience in software development, software configuration and product life-cycle management. Your role will involve J2EE programming, writing documentations and scripting. You will be exposed to a wide range of technologies, tools and languages such as J2EE, Subversion, Sourcesafe, Ant, JIRA and Eclipse. This 6-month internship could lead to a permanent position within the Research & Development Department.
Your assignments will include:
  • Developing and enforcing procedures, policies, and tools to increase overall build management effectiveness.
  • Writing nightly build tools and auto deployment tools for Web application servers.
  • Working directly with project managers and J2EE developpers.
  • Planning and delivering internal and related projects tools.

Profile:
  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Some experience with J2EE platform.
  • Proactive and results-oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and technology skills.
  • Any working experience in the telco sector during a previous internship is a plus.

Internship - Mobile Wireless Application Developer

Description:
Voxmobili is looking for a trainee to study onboard technologies for mobile phones.
The assignment for this intership includes coding on a mobile application which is running a Contacts manager and a synchronization module, in order to synchronize contacts stored on a local PC desktop PIM such as Outlook or on a network PIM such as VoxPIM - see (www.voxmobili.com). This software will be designed as an onboard application for the Smartphone family device.
The internship will end with a demonstration of the Client application running on a Nokia 6630.
Every steps of the study and application development during the internship will be handled as a project and will have to be planned and followed with written reports.

Profile:
  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong Java and C/C++ programming skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and technology skills.
  • Autonomous.
